1st day at school
Starting nursery is a big change for children. It is the first time for many children to socialise with other children and for some, it comes much easier than othersThe first day of nursery is always exciting for both kids and educators or carers. But the first day of school can also be very stressing for educators. You will probably find yourself wondering: Do I have all the supplies I will need? Are my kids going to feel welcome and at ease in the class? And most importantly, what do I wear?!
During the first weeks of the course you are going to visit some nursery schools in your town, pay attention and take notes. You'll have to record a video to tell us about your experience in the nurseries.
Some useful questions for your project:
1) What were the nurseries like?
2) How many nurseries did you visit? Give names.
3) Which nursery or nurseries did you like best?
4) How many educators were there?
5) How many children were there?
6) Did the children cry when their parents left? Explain
7) Did the children bring a toy with them? Explain

Storytelling
You will have to tell a short tale for toddlers. You can adapt one from (not copy) the net or invent it yourself and write it down. Then you record it and email the story and the video.
During the filming, i.e., while you are telling the tale or performing the play, do it as if you were in front of the children of the age you have chosen. To help you practise the pronunciation of your part you can try this tool to rehearse your part:
